I thought my cats were bad!

One of my co-workers just introduced me to this youtube video... My cats are noisy little beasts when they're hungy, but they're not like this!



And they certainly know better than to get on the counter when I'm home!

Ben's making me...

So my husband won't stop harrassing me becasue I posted about Heath Ledger, he told me I need to put something else up here...

I have been so incredibly busy at work since getting back from vacation, that we haven't done a whole lot: Dinner with one of Ben's County buddies and his family last Thursday at Cheesecake Factory, dinner with Emily & Jared at the Rock on Friday, and a few hours of mayhem with Dad & Chris Saturday night (see here)...

... And becasue I like to see pictures with posts but don't have any from these events, here's a couple more from vacation.

*So if there's anyone that reads this that knew me/remembers my cheer days... One year for competition we did a dance routine to Surfin' USA by the Beach Boys. I'm doing the first part of the dance while standing on my husband's back... Don't think for a second that I'm using my massage skills & he's getting some cool type of Reike - I'm having a dance party!*

This one's from Aubrey... Hopefully as soon as her kids get back into a home schedule, instead of the Dirty rotten spoiled by Grandparents and Auntie's schedule, she'll  be posting some of her pictures :o)

I want to go back already! So if you clicked on the collage below and saw the picture of Ben trying to force these ugly lime green shoes onto his feet - those shoes were sitting in a clearance PILE on the floor at the back of a store. No joke, a big pile of ugly shoes! He's playing around trying to squeeze his 12's into these size 11 (but smaller because they're made with real alligator skin) shoes. I joked that he should be careful as the shoes were probably $700 bucks. He laughed and looked at the tag on the sole and corrected me, "Nope they're $799 at 50% off!!!"

We left the store about a half second later... I'm sure the employees hate us poor people!

Oh and if you're wondering why Aubrey's looking down Jon Bon Jovi's shirt, it's because they took about 12 blond hairs and sporadically put them in his chest... Does the man really have a sprout farm for chest hair? It wasn't cute!

  

We're home...

We had a blast!

In short:

• O was AMAZING!
• Tournament of Kings was definitely a boy show... but entertaining.
• Jean Philippe at the Bellagio has the best gelatto.
• Gallagher's at the NY NY has wonderful Tuscan White Bean Soup and the BEST Cheesecake. (Straight from the Carnegie deli in NYC)
• Penny slots make $20 last much longer... And don't gamble on Friday nights!
• Ben and Brandon play more in the toy stores than the kids do...
• It's a crime to have to get up in Vegas before 5:30 am... NEVER take a before noon flight out again!
• The monorail is not always the easiest mode of transport!
• Good shoes make for happier tourists
• We have wonderful friends!

24 hours...

In exactly 24 hours we will be safely fastened into our plane, Ben will most likely already be asleep, and we'll be mere moments from take-off!
Brandon and Aubrey are on the same flight (only leaving today - Punks!) and should be taking off in just a few minutes ;o)

However, I'm still here and there's nothing like a 2 hour commute into work this morning to bring me back to reality... I'm not on vacation just yet!

NUTS!

That's the only blog appropriate word I can come with to say about today's game! That and, "ARGGGG!" - but I guess that's not really a word, so nuts will have to do! Thank goodness Ryan Grant was so generous in fumbling twice in the first 5 minutes - allowing us some points before he ran us over for the remaining 55 minutes of play! It was sure sweet!

Well, there's still the hope of sports excitement as the ESPN Zone - As long as they're not replaying today's game! 

GO HAWKS!

I'm getting really excited for the Seahawks game and I was thinking how cool it would've been to be in Vegas this weekend and watch the game at the ESPN Zone!!!

Oh well, I'm still watching the Hawks [hopefully] beat the Packers and I'm still going to find a time to go into this place - even if I have to watch replay games :o)
